First half of the 18th century
Pinecone-shaped bottle on a stem with a solid knot and a slightly trumpet-shaped base with a strengthened edge. The use of the pinecone shape was a characteristic feature of Catalan glassmaking from the 16th to the 18th centuries. Raised on a stand, these pieces could take the form of a candlestick or a bottle, being made to end in candle holders or in long open necks.
