Minor processional cross, not stamped and of unknown provenance, perhaps made in a Barcelona workshop, or in another directly influenced by its guidelines. On the whole it has a cluttered appearance, although it is based on the same fleur-de-lis patterned type, typical of mediaeval times, and conserves the architectural structure of the knot. The formal and Mannerist dislocations might in this case be due to a Gothic and Renaissance duality. On the arms, the cross shows decoration of pinheads articulated towards a central geometric axis of symmetry, where you can still vaguely visualise the ornamental scheme of the 16th-century acanthus leaves, and on the fleurs-de-lis there are pinheads, a central oval with a seraph and a top crowning element that forms small garlands of fruit. The cross is now fixed in a hemisphere added later to the two-part architectural tower with images of the apostles in niches. Although the positions of Jesus and Mary are inverted, the specific content of this work follows the mediaeval tradition of the Crucifix with the Calvary scene and the symbols of Redemption on the front, and the Virgin with the evangelists and their symbols on the back. The treatment of the images has remarkable volume and also great movement, and the features, kind and delicate, could be related to the imagery on the polychrome carved altarpieces of the same period.
